Why choose a stainless steel necklace?
316L stainless steel is a high-quality alloy that resists rust and oxidation. Unlike some plated metals, it keeps its brilliance even with regular contact with water or sweat. It is the material of choice for medical jewellery, valued for its biocompatibility.
Gold-plated necklaces: how to preserve the plating?
The galvanic gold plating on our necklaces is applied in a thick layer for long-lasting wear. To preserve it: wipe with a soft cloth after each wear, avoid direct contact with perfumes and creams, and store in the pouch provided.
How to layer necklaces?
Layering means wearing several necklaces of different lengths at the same time. Combine our fine chain (38–42 cm) with a pendant (42–46 cm) for a natural effect. Stick to the same finish (gold, silver or rose gold) for a harmonious look.
Hypoallergenic necklaces for sensitive skin
All our pieces are made from 316L stainless steel, which is nickel-free on the surface — the main cause of jewellery allergies. If you usually react to costume jewellery, our necklaces are made for you.
FAQ
Are Inoxa necklaces suitable for allergy-prone skin?
Yes. 316L stainless steel is hypoallergenic and nickel-free on the surface. It is used for medical implants and suits the most sensitive skin.
Can I shower wearing my Inoxa necklace?
316L steel is resistant to fresh water. To extend the life of the plating, we recommend limiting contact with sea water, chlorine and harsh soaps.
How do I choose the length of my necklace?
A choker is 38–40 cm, a classic length is 42–45 cm. For layering, choose lengths that differ by at least 5 cm.
